Welcome!

Chris played baseball at Belmont Abbey College and graduated in 1994 with a B.A. in Sports Management. He coached baseball at North Mecklenburg High School in the mid-90s and also played and coached semi-pro baseball during that time. From 2021–2024, he coached major-level travel baseball with SBA and Wow Factor. After the 12U season, his team was ranked #2 in North Carolina.

 

From 2006 to 2020, and again from 2024 to the present, Chris has coached girls’ travel softball. During his fast-pitch coaching career, he has won 10U, 14U, 16U, and 18U NC USA Softball State Titles, and his teams have competed in national tournaments across Texas, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, Virginia, and Georgia. He also coached Varsity Softball at South Iredell High School in 2015 and again from 2018–2021.

He is currently coaching the Team NC 8U fast-pitch softball team. Chris also has two daughters who played college softball: Abbey, who played at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC, and Kelby, who played at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC.
