Chris played baseball at Belmont Abbey College and graduated with a BA degree in Sports Management in1994. He coached baseball at North Mecklenburg High School in the mid 90's. He played and coached Semi-Pro baseball in the 90's. He coached travel baseball from 2021-2024 at the Major level with SBA and Wow Factor. After the 12u season his team was ranked #2 in NC. From 2006 to 2020 and 2024 - present Chris has coached girls travel softball. During his fast-pitch softball coaching, he won 10u,14u,16u, and 18u NC USA State Titles. Softball Nationals were located in TX, TN, FL, SC, VA and GA. He also coached Varsity Softball at South Iredell High School in 2015, 2018-2021. He is currently coaching the Team NC 8u Fastpitch softball team. He also has two daughters who played college softball. Abbey played at Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, NC and Kelby played at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC.
